Bio

Victor A. Rotolo is a 1982 graduate of Seton Hall Law School. Prior to attending law school, Victor attended American University in Washington, DC, where he received the Undergraduate Achievement Award and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Justice. Before becoming an attorney, Victor served two years as a police officer in Elizabeth, NJ after having attended the Union County Police Academy from which he graduated as class Valedictorian in 1978.

Victor founded the Firm located in Lebanon, NJ. With over 30 years of legal experience, Victor is honored to be recognized with America’s Top 100 Attorneys Lifetime Achievement award. Victor’s experience encompasses matters relating to divorce and family law, federal civil rights actions, general liability law, product liability, commercial law and business disputes, employment law, medical and legal malpractice, and automobile negligence. He continues to represent clients in the central New Jersey area, focusing primarily on family law, personal injury and criminal defense.

Victor is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, having first been named to the forum in 2002. In 2016, he became a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in these forums is restricted to attorneys who have won verdicts or reached settlements totaling one million dollars and multi-million dollars, respectively. In addition, Victor has been included on the list of New Jersey Super Lawyers each year since 2006. The New Jersey Super Lawyers list is generated by the Thomson Reuters organization based on the methodology and set of standards set forth in the Super Lawyers Selection Methodology.

Victor has maintained a rating of “AV” from Martindale-Hubbell since first having achieved this rating in 1996. Martindale-Hubbell is the oldest nationally recognized legal reference firm in the U.S. The company uses the methodology and standards set forth in Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings Methodology in awarding its ratings.

Additionally, Victor is certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer by the Supreme Court of New Jersey based on certification standards specified under Rule 1:39; Specialty Certification of Attorneys. He served as Chair and Vice Chair of the New Jersey District XIII Ethics Committee to which he was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court for the years 2009 through 2011.

A member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Victor served as a judge on the Yale Mock Trial Invitational sponsored by Yale University. He has also held various membership positions and chaired many committees in the Hunterdon County Bar Association. A commentator at the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE), Victor was also an adjunct faculty member at Hofstra University School of Law’s Trial Advocacy Program. At Hofstra, Victor taught trial practice techniques to other attorneys under the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Program.

Victor is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association with the New Jersey Courts and has been appointed by the Court as a Discovery Master in complex litigation matters.
