Bio

I have been practicing for more than 35 years, mostly in corporate and business litigation. Much of my experience is in real estate, eminent domain, and construction matters. Independently, I spend time mediating cases and sitting as an arbitrator. I am a past president of the New Hampshire Bar Association and the New England Bar Association. New Hampshire Legal Services is another organization where I volunteer my time.

The clients I work with are large and small businesses, as well as individuals. Many of our clients are organizations with corporate control and organizational problems, as well as companies and individuals involved in the breakup or merger of their businesses.

One recent eminent domain case resulted in a $19 million verdict, the largest in state history. Over the years, I have tried hundreds of cases in numerous state and federal courts in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

As a bookworm, I dedicate at least an hour every day to reading. One little known fact about me is that I attended the Cordon Bleu in Paris, and I still love to cook. With a love for the ocean, I spend as much time as possible on the coast. I enjoy skiing, golfing, and occasionally spend a little time on the basketball court.
