Verdicts and Settlements:
• After practicing in Atlanta, GA in several national law firms for approximately six and one half years, Roy Boyd began his career as a Plaintiff's personal injury attorney: Over his career as a Plaintiff's personal injury attorney, Mr. Boyd has resolved claims collectively exceeding many millions of dollars each year of his practice. Seven figure settlements, some of which were far in excess of the limits due to bad faith claims, have been resolved. Excess settlements occur routinely, and a recent jury trial resulted in a verdict of over three times the insurance limits, which was paid by the insurance company. Recently, he has been involved in the handling of over 42 Hip Replacement cases and hundreds of vehicular incidents to a successful resolution for his clients

In 2024, in the Case of Williams v. Colvin, Superior Court of Glynn County, Mr. Boyd, lead counsel, with Autumn Cocchi, an attorney at Boyd Law Firm, obtained a verdict of $8,204,426.07.  This verdict was the largest automobile jury verdict in the history of  Glynn County Superior Court.
