Bio

Attorney Jason W. Swindle, Sr., of Swindle Law Group, P.C., in Carrollton, Georgia, has a practice devoted to criminal and DUI defense. Mr. Swindle is highly qualified in these areas and serves a variety of clients in Carrollton and Douglasville, as well as throughout Carroll, Coweta, Douglas and other counties throughout western Georgia.
Mr. Swindle earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Georgia Southern University and his law degree from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law. He has been admitted to practice in the state of Georgia since 2003 and is also licensed to practice before federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Throughout his career, Mr. Swindle has litigated thousands of criminal cases. He has used this extensive experience base to author articles on criminal defense topics, speak to various organizations and universities on issues involving criminal justice and politics, and regularly analyzes criminal matters on television.

He also serves as an adjunct professor of Criminology at the University of West Georgia.

In 2017, Gov. Nathan Deal (R) (GA) appointed Swindle to the Sex Offender Registry Review Board as the only criminal defense serving on the board. He was also elected to the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors, representing the Coweta Judicial Circuit. The Board of Governors is the governing authority for the State Bar of Georgia.
