Mr. Taira practices in the areas of taxation, business structuring and acquisitions, real estate transactions, trust and probate litigation, estate planning and health care law. received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Emphasis in Accounting), cum laude, Masters of Business Taxation, and Juris Doctor Degrees, each from the University of Southern California where he attended on scholarship and attained all three (3) degrees in seven (7) years. As a student attaining his Masters of Business Taxation degree, Mr. Taira was the recipient of the Prentice-Hall Award for attaining the highest grade point average in the School of Accounting. He was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and Phi Alpha Delta. Mr. Taira was also an active member of the USC Accounting Circle, Beta Alpha Psi, and Vice President of Alpha Kappa Psi. Mr. Taira has passed all four (4) parts of the National Uniform Certified Public Accountant’s Examination in the State of California and was previously employed in the audit and tax departments of two of the "Big 8" international public accounting firms. Mr. Taira is a former NFL and CFL agent and is a former real estate licensee as well as a State-certified instructor of continuing education courses for real estate licensees.
