Bio

David D. Park, ELLIOTT & PARK, P.C., Portland. Mr. Park is a sole practitioner and maintains a general tort litigation and trial practice which emphasizes police misconduct, employment discrimination and personal injury. Mr. Park tried his first police misconduct case in state court in 1984, has represented numerous clients in police misconduct litigation individually and as lead counsel or co-counsel in both state and federal courts since. He served for six years on the Executive Committee of the OSB Civil Rights Section and is a former Chair of that committee and is a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.  Mr. Park was an integral member of a three lawyer trial team which represented the plaintiff estate in an excessive deadly force wrongful death case, Estate of Lukus Glenn v. Washington County, in the United States District Court, Portland, in 2012. The jury returned a 2.5 million dollar verdict for the plaintiff estate, currently the largest verdict in Oregon in a police misconduct case.
