Bio

Gary L. Hudson, Jr. attended Kent State University where he received his BS Magna Cum Laude in 1993 and his JD Cum Laude from the University of Toledo in 1996 (Order of the Coif).

In 2011, Gary received an AV® Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.  Gary was selected to the 2016 Southwest Super Lawyers List, a distinction held by only 5% of the attorneys in the region.  He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel and is a member of the State Bars of Arizona and Michigan. Mr. Hudson is also admitted to practice in the District Court of Arizona, Eastern District and Western District Court of Michigan and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Gary’s practice areas include First and Third Party Insurance Matters, Insurance Coverage Analysis, Product Liability, Premises Liability, Construction Defect, Commercial Litigation and Employment Law. Gary has tried civil cases to a verdict throughout the State of Arizona, including but not limited to Maricopa, Pima, Mohave, Coconino and Yavapai Counties.

Reported decisions:  Wickham v. Hopkins, 226 Ariz. 468, 250 P.3d 245 (Ct.App. 2011)(premises liability case limiting homeowner liability for injuries and damages to guests) ; Desert Golf Cars v. Yamaha Motor Co., 198 Ariz. 103, 7 P.3d 112 (Ct. App. 2000)(secured reversal of trial court's ruling denying defense and indemnity of product seller from manufacturer); Spirlong v. Browne, 236 Ariz. 146, 336 P.3d 779 (Ct. App. 2014)
