Bio

After graduation from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Mr. Campbell received his Juris Doctor from The University of Akron, where he was selected to the Akron Law Review Board of Editors. In 1972, he began law practice handling a variety of trial matters as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Franklin County, Ohio.

Mr. Campbell is admitted to the practice of law before the United States Supreme Court; the United States Northern and Southern District Courts of Ohio; the Ohio Supreme Court; and all Ohio courts.

Mr. Campbell concentrates his practice on civil litigation matters such as business issues, domestic relations, real estate, probate and personal injury. In recognition of excellence in advocacy, Mr. Campbell has been certified as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum which is limited to attorneys who have won million dollar verdicts and/or settlements for their clients. Additionally, Mr. Campbell was nominated and recognized in Columbus CEO Top Lawyers for 2010 through 2016 and he has been rated as AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell for more than 15 years.

Mr. Campbell has been a continuous member of Columbus, Ohio State and American Bar Associations for over 40 years. He has been a member of several local bar committees, including Judiciary, Family Law, Common Pleas and Fee Arbitration, for which he has served as Chair.

Active in community affairs in Central Ohio, Mr. Campbell was elected to two terms on the Dublin City Council, including a term as Mayor of Dublin. Mr. Campbell was elected to the to the Dublin-Washington Township Merger Commission, for which he served as Vice-Chair Board of Trustees, selected to the Central Ohio Municipal Council and selected as a member of the Public Safety Committee of the National League of Cities and the Ohio Mayors Association. He was appointed by Dublin to serve as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, Parks and Recreation Committee and Community Plan Steering Committee. Mr. Campbell has been appointed as Magistrate for Dublin Mayor’s Court since 2010.

In recognition of his community service, Mr. Campbell was selected as Grand Marshal of the 1998 Dublin July Fourth Celebration and as Honoree of 2000 Dublin Emerald Ball. He is past-President of the Board of Trustees of the Dublin Convention and Visitors Bureau and past-President of the Dublin Special Events Council. He previously served as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Dublin Counseling Center. He has participated in several successful community issue campaigns, including the 2016 Washington Township Fire Levy campaign for which he served as Treasurer.
