During my 35 years in practice I have devoted my attentions exclusively to civil litigation, for the defense and for plaintiffs, mainly in the following areas: Motor Vehicle B.I. Liability; Motor Vehicle UM & UIM Liability; Insurance Bad Faith; Insurance Coverage; Employment & Labor Law; Lawyer Professional Liability, Aviation Liability; and Premises Liability. I have tried over 30 civil liability cases to conclusion. I have attended numerous Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) seminars which addressed the topics of insurance coverage, the handling of insurance claims, including the areas of Bodily Injury (“B.I.”), Uninsured Motorist (“UM”), Under-Insured Motorist (“UIM”) and insurance bad faith. I have been a presenter at CLE seminars on various subjects including: insurance coverage & policy interpretation; defending BI and UM/UIM claims; insurance bad faith; and, comparative bad faith.

I served on the Arizona Supreme Court Committee on Examinations from 1991 to 1998, serving as Chairman in 1998. I have served on the State Bar of Arizona Fee Dispute Arbitration Committee from 1995 (on & off) forward and including the present time. I served on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel from 1997 through 2003, serving as President for the 2002 – 2003 year. I was called by the Defense Research Institute to testify as a witness before the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee regarding legislation on National No-Fault Auto Insurance.
