Bio

Tim Edwards is an accomplished litigation attorney and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he has taught Civil Procedure, including Electronic Discovery, for over fifteen years. Tim is an aggressive and experienced attorney who has litigated complex employment and commercial cases throughout the United States throughout his career. Tim provides efficient and practical litigation skills throughout the State of Wisconsin in commercial disputes, employment litigation and construction claims. Tim understands that clients want to achieve the best outcome in a cost-effective manner.

Tim is also pioneer in the complex, rapidly developing field of E-Discovery. He has a sophisticated understanding of the procedures that govern the discovery of admissible information and the practical side of document retention and management, including the cost considerations that clients face in addressing these issues. Tim’s experience and insight into document management practices enable him to craft strategies that protect and defend clients from liability exposure and reduce risk so they can grow and thrive.

Tim has a strong and very distinguished academic background. In 2000, Tim returned to law school for two advanced law degrees, a Master’s in Law and a Doctor of Juridical Science, which he received with Honors. He has published many articles, including his Master's and SJD dissertations.

Tim’s unique academic background and deep practical experience gives clients the confidence that their litigation matters will be resolved in an appropriate and assertive fashion.
