Bio

William H. “Bill” Hickman is the managing partner with Hickman Law Group. Bill attended the United States Air Force Academy, where he received a degree in business management. In the Air Force, he served as a captain and government contracting officer. He received an M.B.A. from Auburn University and later attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he graduated No. 1 in his class, was on the Dean's Honor Roll, and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. Bill also serves as a city council representative in Norman, OK.

Bill practices and consults in the areas of mediation, eminent domain and condemnation law, outdoor advertising and media law, zoning and land use law, business and civil litigation, government contracting, real estate law, education law, special education law, business law and consultation, administrative law, employment law, oil and gas law, open meetings act, and open records act. He is admitted to practice before all Oklahoma State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Western, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Oklahoma, The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the United States Court of Federal Claims. Bill has also been admitted to many courts in other states. Bill appears before State Board of Education, city councils, planning commissions, boards of adjustment and other regulatory bodies.
