Bio

Mark A. Haney is a member of Puls Haney, P.L.L.C. Mark is a Past President and Board Member of the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, is AV-rated by Martindale Hubble, and 10 of 10 rated by AVVO.

He has been recognized as a Top Attorney in Fort Worth in personal injury trial law since 2003 and recognized by Texas Law & Politics as a Texas “Super Lawyer” in personal injury trial law since 2003. Mark was recognized in 2015 by Texas Monthly as one of the Top 100 lawyers in Texas in personal injury trial law. Mark has tried cases to verdict throughout the State of Texas.

In addition to the numerous other trials that Mark has had, he has on two occasions obtained verdicts that qualified as the Top 100 verdicts in the United States for that year. In 2003, Mark and his law partner were the lead civil attorneys who obtained a judgment for $43,000,000.00, arising from the death of a young man at a juvenile boot camp facility (Rickey Alexander, et al. v. Correctional Services Corporation, et al., in the 236th District Court of Tarrant County, Texas).

In 2015, Mark was lead lawyer in a products liability case, resulting in a verdict of $33,800,000.00 for injuries that a man received, resulting in the loss of his leg after falling through a sky light (Steven Landers v. Wasco Products, Inc., in the 48th District Court of Tarrant County, Texas).

Mark is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
