Bio

Since beginning my legal career as a federal court Law Clerk to Chief Judge Shane Devine, U.S. Federal District Court, District of New Hampshire, I entered private practice in my hometown of Nashua. Since then I have had a wide and varied practice in both federal and state courts, mostly in New Hampshire, but with some representation in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and North Carolina as well. My work has included both plaintiff and defendant representation in tort, products liability and employment litigation, class actions, environmental litigation, commercial litigation and insurance claims involving both first and third party claims. I have represented individuals and multinational corporations and everything in between. I have tried substantial cases to verdict and have been involved in countless mediations as both a litigator and a mediator/neutral. I have been involved as a Rule 32 mediator since that rule's predecessor (Rule 170)  became the backbone of New Hampshire ADR through the court system in the early 1990s and I have attended the training both back during that time period as well periodic training in both the state and federal courts, as well as through the N.H. Office of Mediation & Arbitration, through which I am a State Certified Mediator.
