Bio

Rebecca Langston was the first graduate of the JD/MBA program at Mississippi College school of law in 1999.   She has been the managing partner of Langston and Langston, PLLC since November, 2003.  While serving the citizens of Mississippi in the areas of Medical Malpractice, pharmaceutical drugs, Premises Liability, Products Liability  and other personal injury litigation, she has been recognized as specializes in Birth Trauma Litigation.   While practicing law, she has served as the President of Mississippi Association for Justice, formally Mississippi Trial Lawyer's Association.  She is now the Immediate Past-President of the Western Trial Lawyers' Association &  and was the first female to serve as president.  As an active member of the American Association for Justice, formally American Trial Lawyers Association, she has served as Chair of the New Lawyers Division, Chair of the Women's Caucus, Presidemt of the Council of Presidents and is the current Chair-Elect of the State Delegates.  She has served on the AAJ Executive Committee for four years as well as the Board of Governors for six years.   She also serves on the board of governors for the Southern Trial Lawyers' Association. While active in the Mississippi Bar Association, she Chaired the MS Diversity Committee and has sat on the Rules Committee.  Rebecca has also served as a Barrister in the Inns of Court.  She has been recognized & awarded numerous awards from each of these organizations.

Rebecca Langston represented three victims of 911 pro bono. She has been recognized by the Chief Justice on the Mississippi State Supreme Court, for the amount of pro bono hours she gives each year.

She travels the country and beyond, educating other lawyers on litigating Birth trauma cases and other matters in which she's asked to speak.

She is married to Shane Langston and is the proud mother of five children,  which she considers her greatest accomplishment.
